On October 7, 2008, the IMF Global Action Day against Precarious Work, IMF-JC President Koichiro Nishihara and General Secretary Hideyuki Wakamatsu, having just returned to Japan from their meetings with Korean labor unions(FKMTU), traveled directly from Haneda Airport to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. They took with them the list of demands toward the ministers for correction of the precarious work problem and the Resolutions against Precarious Work as determined in the IMF-JC 47th Regular Conference on September 2, which they delivered to Assistant Minister for International Affairs、Taro Muraki. Along with this, the IMF-JC demanded that the Ministry enact labor policy following its Resolutions against Precarious Work and make greater efforts toward creating quality employment and restoring dignity to work. → IMF-JC Resolutions against Precarious Work
